On Saturday, December 16, Woodlawn Cemetery Celebrated “Wreaths Across America” as Scout Troop #354, alongside devoted friends and family, joined together to pay tribute to our local veterans as many did across the nation.
The Woodlawn Cemetery Trustees extend their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated volunteers, friends, and family members who generously participated. Their collective efforts resonated with a deep sense of honor and respect for those who served our country.
A special commendation goes to Scout Troop #354, whose invaluable contribution of time and effort played a pivotal role in adorning the final resting places of our veterans with festive wreaths. Their commitment to this meaningful cause reflects the Scout values of service, community, and patriotism.
The Woodlawn Cemetery Trustees express sincere gratitude to the local community for their unwavering support. The generosity of J.W. Wilburn, Meadow View, SARCO Enterprises, and individual donors made this heartfelt tribute possible. “Through the kindness of our community, the memory of our veterans was honored in a truly special and meaningful way and we are so thankful for their support.” – Woodlawn Trustee Member Sondra Sarten
